OKScript Status Report #27 January 4, 2008 Dear OKScript User, The OKScript Status Report is sent to OKScript users when significant updates have been made to the program or particularly interesting techniques or applications for the program appear. To update or be removed from this distribution list please see the links at the bottom of this message or write me at web@mjmx.com. This issue announces an update that makes OKScript compatable with the Vista version of Microsoft Windows. Vista enforces several measures that enhance the security of your system. OKScript's installer was reconfigured to comply with these requirements. You will notice fewer options are offered in the installation process and OKScript will not automatically start after the install is completed. On initial startup OKScript creates a profile folder for its settings file and asks for a default folder for script files, offering the option to copy the sample files to that folder. The scripting functionality of this release is identical to its predecessor. The current version of OKScriptX (dated December 20, 2007) can be downloaded from... http://www.mjmx.com For more information, or to offer suggestions or interesting techniques or applications for OKScript write me at web@mjmx.com, or visit the website at http://www.mjmx.com Thank you for supporting the continuing development of OKScript.
